WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Campers can look forward to creating 2-3+ art projects every day they are in camp. Our thoughtfully curated curriculums introduce a variety of art techniques, mediums, and art history. We love presenting our projects in an engaging and fun way. Your camper may work with canvas, hand building and wheel throwing with clay, pottery glazing, sketching, painting, collage, paper/fiber, and much more!
• At the Art Camp, your child will not only explore their creativity but also build confidence and make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.
• A huge part of what makes this camp so special is the art teacher! With 20+ year of experience, the ability to cultivate a warm inclusive atmosphere for both students and parent. The passion and expertise are what make the Art Camp the home to some of the best camps in El Paso!
• ALL materials and supplies needed are included in the final cost

PROJECTS

Learn texture and sculpting techniques like craving, molding, assembling, throwing, and texturing

Create fun projects like animals on functional pieces, abstract sculptures, and other pieces of art

Develop problem-solving and design skills while bringing ideas to life

Students will learn about famous sculptures and painters in art history

Wheel throwing!

GENERAL POLICIES

• Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration incentives are available!
• Complimentary snack and drink will be provided, but this by no means is a breakfast replacement.
• All campers should wear comfortable clothing that will look good with permanent ink/paint on afterwards.
• Every adult, or guardian of an underage child, must sign a Release of Liability Waiver to use the studio. Although we do everything in our power to minimize risk, there are health hazards associated with clay activities and we require that each person be responsible for their ability to participate.
• Clay sometimes cracks while drying or breaks in the kiln. Taking a class does not guarantee the success of your project. While we do our absolute best to prevent such an occurrence, some outcomes simply can't be controlled by our staff.
• Payments accepted: Online Credit Cards preferred at registration.
• Tuition paid in full reserves your campers spot. After registration, rescheduling or missed classes cannot be refunded. Please thoughtfully consider your schedule before committing.
