Guild Members in attendance:

Items Discussed:
New Mexico Bulk Clay Order
Katie and Deborah added to the bulk order. We are at approx. 1 ton of clay. Order to be placed Monday 1/13 morning. Depending upon the success of this trial run, it may happen again in the Fall. UPDATE: 1 Ton of clay was ordered and is due for delivery 1/20
Alternative Firing Workshop
A date of 4/22 was selected for this event. Free for both EP and LC Guild members. Non-members $50. 8X8 bisqued pieces maximum from Raku or Cone 10 clay.
Other Workshops
EP Guild is in discussions with Local Sculptrist to accommodate a Weekend 2 day intensive Figurative Sculpture Workshop. More details to follow.
Members requested a Bead and Ornament making workshop. Idea was floated to do this in the Summer as part of a Guild Meeting. We can Raku these in a subsequent firing event.
Markets
Two markets were proposed. Completely free to Guild Members for one 6ft space at the Falstaff.
Spring Sale on 4/12 encompassing Earth Day, Easter, 420, and Mothers Day.
Weinachen Markt (Christmas Holiday Market) December Date TBD
Charity Event
It was proposed to either contribute to Las Cruces Empty Bowls Event, or create our own in El Paso. Members voted on the latter. However instead of bowls, soup, and El Caldito, we will sell Adult Beverage Mugs, Supported by Local Artisanal Beer Crafters at a central location and turn over the proceeds to an El Paso area food insecurity organization (TBD)
Based on the discussion at our meeting, I created a preliminary Project Plan outlined below. This will be voted on at our next meeting 2/22.
Membership Drive
We are soliciting ideas to help increase the number of active EPCG members. If you have any suggestions, please email them to us.
