EMPTY STEINS EL PASO CHARITY FUNDRAISER
Projected for 2027
David will put together a video tied into El Paso Clay Guild where he will demo the specs for the type of Mugs that will hold 16 oz. of liquid for future Spring event.
Participants would contribute with making and storing Steins until the sale.
Mike suggested that he could coordinate Steins for possible tie in with Beer Fest.
NCECA
David networked a bunch at the last NCECA. These are some points discussed:
George Rodriquez, El Paso homeboy turned Washington Clay Sculptor has met with Dab=vid for a potential workshop/ exhibition working with the EL PASO CLAY GUILD. (Maybe extending invites to Potters Guild of Las Cruces)
David met with Josh from Laguna clay for a potential Materials Workshop in the future.
The theme at NCECA… Ceramics are blowing up around the country. On his most recent NCECA attendance, vendors galore and lots of schools opening up and representing booths at the conference… Perhaps, he suggests we may be interested in having a booth for our Guild.
